Do you think we can eradicate poverty?
Many people do not believe that we will ever be able to eradicate suffering or poverty in the developing countries and many do not either believe that aid & development work has sufficient effect compared with the recourses spent.

Greater results than people are aware of!
Already now much greater results have been achieved than most people are aware of!

UN's environment initiavtive

- Caring for the Climate

In 2007 Kjaer Group A/S further confirmed our support for a cleaner environment by joining UN’s environmental initiative, Caring for the Climate.

The Kjaer Group Way of Management

The UN Global Compact establishes an important framework for the activities of Kjaer Group A/S and it is incorporated into the company’s governance framework: The Kjaer Group Way of Management (KWOM).

The 10 Principles
The UN Global Compact is based on 10 principles concerning social awareness, anti-corruption, the environment, fair working conditions etc.

The idea is not to have control over all principles from the very beginning but to make continuous improvements. And once a year, we report on our progress to the UN.

UN 2015 Development Goals against poverty

Part of the commitment is also to support the UN 2015 Development Goals against poverty. This is why UN has asked us and other Danish Global Compact companies to be partner in “The World’s Best News” campaign.

“The World’s Best News” campaign is specifically aimed at shedding light on the work behind the UN 2015 Development Goals, which is to half global poverty by 2015, and to illustrate that help does reach the people who need it the most.

Supporting the World's Best News

200 Danish companies are supporting the World’s Best News” campaign and many more worldwide are supporting the UN Global Compact initiative that supports the UN 2015 Development Goals.

The initiatives, with different approaches, are all aimed at creating awareness on global unjust social issues and to take action where needed.
